Well its been a while, and I've been slacking sooo.. here goes.
Two Weeks ago was the UCI races in TO, a two day affair at Centennial park, in Etobicoke. I was looking forward to a royal butt smashing, but managed a bit better than expected! Saturday was a fast race, lots of off camber, twist and turns, grass and good weather! Did well almost cracked the top 20, with a good crowd, it was a nice feeling!
Sunday went a bit better, overcast, but more of a climbing affair. A good recovery from the previous day was nice, and although it was a bit chillier, it was a pretty good day on the 'hill'. Well inside the top 20 this time, and a bit deeper into the cash! racing paid for!
The following week, we were back in Ottawa, this time at Mooney's Bay for another 'round of the eastern series. I was hoping to pull out a result, as I'd expect everyone to head south to Trenton, NJ for the big race, not so.. everyone decided to stay home, and it was really cold, and I got shelled.. no fun, but I'm still in the points and have an outside shot at making the top 5 in the series.. so well see how it goes.
This weekend is supposed to be in Morrisburg, another round of the eastern series, but we've just got a major dump of snow.. so we'll see if the race is still a go or not.. hopefully so!
will be more dilligent in the future at getting stuff up here.. maybe...
